Book Sales, Upcoming
Events, Authors

Book
Sale:
The Friends sell books, music,
movies and magazines to the public throughout
the year. Our warehouse is filled with thousands
of gently used donations and seldom used items
from the library's collection. Money from sales
go back to supporting the library's programs,
including Summer Reading Challenge and Irving's
Big Read, as well as new library books and subscriptions.

calendar of events. |

Monthly
Member's Only Sales:
The Friends "members-only" book sales are held
from 1 to 3 p.m. the first Wednesday of the following
months: February, March, April, May, August, September,
October, November and December. Membership
to the Friends can be purchased at the warehouse
during these sales. |

Regular
Library Sales:
The Friends hold Saturday
book sales open to the public at the Irving library
locations throughout the year. |

Author
Appearance Book Sales:
The Friends sell new
books, obtained through local retailers, at author
visits to the library. A portion of money from
books sold goes back to the organization. |
